In Memoriam Mart Giesen

Voormalig Statenlid en secretaris van de Centrumpartij, Mart Giesen, is deze week in Den Haag overleden. Hij studeerde medicijnen aan de Universiteit van Leiden, behaalde daar zijn diploma en werkte als keuringsarts bij de Raad van State.  Het extreme geweld tegen de Centrumpartij in de jaren tachtig maakte grote indruk op hem, Mart verloor zijn goede baan en kon in het verdere beroepsleven geen soortgelijke dienstbetrekking meer vinden.
