I have attended on 23 febr 2024 a Conference on ‘The Impact of Russian Aggression 2 yrs on’ at The Hague Campus of Leyden University, organised in soviet style by The Atlantic Commission， Inst Clingendael and some self-proclaimed military think tanks, all pleading for highter mil budgets and more weapens delivery to Ukraĩne and repeating uni sono the NATO narrative of ‘unprovoked war by Russia. Well, in The Hague, boasting itself to be ‘the capital of int Law&Peace’, this is a blunt violation of academic communication standards. Approaching some speakers like the former S-G of NATO J de Hoop Scheffer or Prof Osinga about President’s Putin’s vision in his interview with T. Carlston prompted just hysterical reactions. Sir Jaap de |Hoop Scheffer, former NATO S-G, stated that he has never changed his impression of Russia, do confessing that NATO was not about being anti-Soviet communism, but bluntly russophobic. A social-democrat Bert Koenders admitted that Europe cannot yet free itself from American occupation and that he therefore is striving for a European army (denying that that is would be still subdued to American decision making). Worst case: Prof Osinga of Leyden University, whom I have suggested that the pan-European security pact as president Putin is striving for, could be very well be guaranteed by countris like Brazil, India, Indonesia, Saoudia and China, because these countries oppose also American hegemony or Russian occupation of Western Europe. He then turned hysterical, shouting: “What ? Do you want China to protect our freedom instead of America?”So far, the mindset of the ruling class in The Netherlands: Worse than totally CIA ruled, one would qualify this atlantic audience unacademic, rather as Taliban under sea level.
